How to use Musiversal with AI tracks

A short, simple guide to getting started and moving through your production:

If you have an Unlimited membership, you can use AI tracks (Suno or Udio) to create guide music and stems, then take those guides through pre-production and into the recording phase.

Can I record an AI track at Musiversal?

Will AI tracks replace musicians?
The truth is... we don't know! In the meantime, we strive to provide real musicians a platform for their craft, the art that made them who they are, to be available to you.

AI tracks are a fast way to sketch arrangements and guides. And music made by real musicians is now easier than ever with Musiversal!
How do I keep AI and recorded parts in sync?
Use a MIDI tempo track from pre-production all the way through the recording phase.

Musiversal's Unlimited membership (see what's included here).
Access to an AI app like Suno, Udio or other.
A clear idea of style/"vibe" for your song/track.
Any ideas about arrangement or parts you want (e.g., “short guitar solo at 2:10”).

Pick your favorite AI app and start creating an AI track.
Create an effective prompt.
Set your parameters. Select instruments, style, length, tempo, and key. Add a short text brief (mood, references, parts to include).
Generate the track.
Listen and review:
- If you like it, save it.
- If you still want changes, tweak the parameters or edit the brief and regenerate.
Export the track as a WAV file, or save the stems – drums, bass, guitars, vocal guide, etc.

Tips

Not happy with the AI result?
Change the brief (more detail on instruments or mood) and regenerate. Keep the versions you like.
Need a different arrangement?
Use the AI tool to generate alternate sections, or export stems and edit them in your DAW.
Still not happy?
