General considerations
At Musiversal we stand behind the quality of our service, but we acknowledge that mistakes can happen. If you are disappointed by the experience or the result you had with us, you may qualify for a for a full or partial refund.
In order to request a refund, write to support@musiversal.com, specifying the purchase and the reason for the refund request.
Upon your request, our team will assess whether you qualify for it or not, based on our Terms of Use.
Musiversal may refuse a refund request if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, overdue payments, or any other similar context.
Once approved, refunds take 5-10 business days to arrive in your bank account.
In the case of a refund, we withdraw your rights to use the recordings done by Musiversal, revoking clauses 1.2 Transfer of rights within the music consulting services, 1.3 Commercial audio usage, and 1.4 Rights clearance.
Unlimited
For all memberships:
- Musiversal may not provide refunds for periods within which users are inactive. For example, if you did not book or finish a session in the past 2 months, this does not entitle you to a refund.
- A refund of your most recent payment may result in the cancelation of your plan. See clause 5.3.1 Cancellation of subscription, for complete information about what happens when your subscription gets cancelled.
For monthly memberships:
- You qualify for a refund as long as you request it up to 48h after your last billing date, and you haven't booked or attended any sessions since the billing.
30-day Money-back Guarantee:
- To activate the 30-day money-back guarantee on your Unlimited membership, and be refunded on your payment, you must fulfil all the following conditions:
- You have not completed more than one session. A completed session means a session which was booked and held for you, until its time passes by, whether you attended it through live stream or not, and whether the session materials resulting from that session were delivered to you or not.
- You have not been refunded on your Unlimited account before.
- You requested your refund no later than 30 days after your first payment.
Top-up Sessions:
- Rescheduling: You can reschedule Top-up sessions 48 hours or more before the session's start time. After this deadline, you can only cancel, without entitlement to a refund (see cancellation conditions below).
- Session cancellations and refund policy: If you cancel a top-up session with less than 48 hours before the session start time, no refund will be issued; If you cancel a top-up session 48 hours or more before the session start time, a refund will be issued automatically; Musiversal reserves the right to cancel a top-up session. In such cases, and if applicable, a refund will be processed. If relevant, +1 session credit may be added to your account.
- Membership cancellation: If you cancel your membership, and a top-up session is scheduled to occur after the cancellation effective date, the session will be automatically cancelled at the time of the cancellation request. At the moment of cancellation, the session cancellations and refund policy will apply based on how far in advance the session was scheduled to.
- Membership pausing: If you pause your membership, any Top-up session will be automatically cancelled at the moment you confirm the pause. At the moment of pausing, the session cancellations and refund policy will apply based on how far in advance the session was scheduled to.
Standalone services
Full Mix and Mix Revision
- You can cancel with a full refund up to 5 days before the online session time or the offline first delivery deadline.
- If you cancel with less than 5-day notice, or if you book with less than 5 days advance of the required delivery date, you are not eligible for a refund.
- Failing to submit your materials 48 hours before the session date and time may result in the cancellation of your session without the possibility of a refund.
- Refunds are not granted after Musiversal completes the delivery of the service.
Premium Production
- For the kickstart meeting booking, Musiversal provides a full refund during a 48-Hour grace period, if your meeting hasn’t taken place. If more than 48 hours have passed since booking, or if you have already attended the Kickstart meeting, no refund is available at that stage.
- Dissatisfaction with the ongoing work does not guarantee a refund. We may, at our sole discretion, grant a partial refund based on the extent of work already completed.
- No refunds will be issued:
- If you fail to submit your pre-session materials;
- Once the final product has been delivered (even if it does not align with your personal taste).
Custom Sessions
- You can cancel a Custom Session with a full refund up to 5 days before the online session time or the offline first delivery deadline.
- If you cancel with less than 5 days notice, or if you book with less than 5 days advance of the required delivery deadline, you are not eligible for a refund.
- Failing to submit your materials 48 hours before the agreed session date and time may result in the cancellation of your session without the possibility of a refund.
- Refunds are not granted after Musiversal completes the delivery of the service.
Arrangements and Transcriptions
- Refunds are not available on these services
Orchestras
- For TBD purchases (i.e.: June TBD): You're entitled to a full refund when the request is made up to 14 days after purchase
- For announced date purchases (i.e.: June 15): You're entitled to a full refund when it's requested with a minimum of 30 days of anticipation to the session's date. If you booked with less than 30 days of anticipation, this session will not be refundable.
- There are some specific technical situations, inherent to the material to be recorded, which may result in a partial or full refund. For more information about this, go to our Terms of Use, clause 3.5 Cancelations and refund policy.
Studio (legacy memberships)
For all plans:
- Musiversal may not provide refunds for periods within which users are inactive. For example, if you did not book or finish a session in the past 2 months, this does not entitle you to a refund.
- A refund of your most recent payment may result in the cancelation of your plan. See clause 4.5.1 Cancellation of subscription, for complete information about what happens when your subscription gets cancelled.
Specific refund conditions to each plan:
- Monthly plans: You qualify for a refund as long as you request it up to 48h after your last billing date, and you haven't booked or attended any sessions since the billing.
- Yearly plans: You qualify for a refund as long as you request it up to 30 days after your last billing date, and you haven't booked or attended any sessions since the billing.
- On-demand: You qualify for a refund as long as you request it up to 48 hours after your purchase date, and you haven't booked or attended any sessions since the billing.
